Whilst I do appreciate everything about all moms, Mother’s, caretakers, family members, sisters, aunts, grand-mother’s, etc. – I find it so hard to agree with only one day to celebrate them! Us moms do it ALL – ALL. THE. TIME!

So, the following items I’ve found “just in time for Mother’s Day” can realistically be bought for that special, wonderful woman in your life, ANY TIME OF THE YEAR! Let me be extra clear here…. we women are wonderful caretakers YEAR-ROUND. So, look at these fantastic gifts, goodies, or however you want to look at them, and keep in mind these gifts work anytime!

For the new Mother’s out there:

Yet another suggestion from Susan Gerson, as above, meet the Noble Newborn Emerson Bottle Brush. I don’t know about you, but when my boys were newborns, we went through a MILLION bottles, and my sink was constantly piling up! Making sure to get into all the nooks and crannies of those bottles was time-consuming and super frustrating! I swear I was always missing something! Noble Newborn boasts a one-of-a-kind bottle brush that, made in the USA, uses less plastic than its’ more common competitors, and its’ weighted on the bottom so it can air dry and not fall into your sink! I am not going to lie – this would be a GREAT gift for any new mother out there!

Take a look at TheSoul Publishing’s YouTube channel, 5 Minute Crafts – this video where they show YOU how to create 18 different crafts involving flowers – a lot of them include flowers that won’t DIE! Now that’s nifty! Thanks to Jasmine, also with 5W Public Relations, who showed me this gem!

Also, be sure to check out Periwinkle Art Studio, streaming on a device nearby, where you and your dearest mom, best friend, or whomever, can take an online art class together! Here is their classes page! Don’t forget that you can purchase some fantastic artwork directly from the studio itself, which would also serve as a perfect gift for that special Mother!

Lastly, as an homage to one of my favorite pastimes, taking photographs, be sure to check out Mixbook. It’s essentially scrapbooking meets the internet. I don’t know about you, but I have a zillion photos (probably more), and I’m always looking for ways to show them off! Mixbooks gives YOU the controls to create a one-of-a-kind design that you or your favorite momma out there will ADORE! Be sure to set aside time to work on it, though – just like scrapbooking, this will take time! Thanks to Quinn with P.R. Hacker for reminding me of these excellent books!

For the frazzled and overwhelmed mom (aka, M.E.! 😉 ):

The Goddess Solution: Practical Wisdom for Everyday Life, by Lisa Marie Rankin. This book sounds like it’s right up my alley – and probably every other woman’s alley as well, LOL! Joelle with Smith Publicity reached out to me to alert me to this book and asked if I’d be interested in reviewing it. Um, yes, please! Per Ms. Rankin, “When you’re beginning to feel more like Cinderella than a goddess, you can call on Demeter– the Greek goddess of harvest, grain, and fertility and mama to her daughter, Persephone. We can also use Ayurveda to connect with our inner goddess.”

She further explains how to care for ourselves inside out, and frankly, every woman needs to know this! I’m currently awaiting my copy, but be assured, I’ll be writing up a review once I get my hands on it! Another item for this section, meet the Go Cuff Coffee Sleeve. Have you ever gone to a coffee shop, or perhaps the gas station, picked up your favorite cup of whatever, then promptly spilled it, knocked it over, forgotten it on the top of your car? Well, these sleeves won’t necessarily change any of that, lol, but they do add an immediate HANDLE for any of your to-go coffee beverages. (Or alcoholic, I don’t judge!)

This is another suggestion from Susan with Susan Gerson Public Relations, and I honestly think this is a great gift! Yet another item that’s not only great for Mother’s Day but perfect for all year! She pointed out when telling me about these that the “Tired as a Mother” Go Cuff would be perfect for moms’, and I couldn’t agree more! (Another item I’ll be shopping for after I’m done here…) 🙂

For the Mother who needs some inspiration:

Meet Ruth, a blind woman who has overcome every obstacle thrown her way due to her vision to become an incredible lady! She moved to the U.K., biked from Ottawa to Toronto, and became a physical therapist, all after being blind at three years old. Her new book, Love is Blind, showcases all of that and more! Talk about a success story!

I’m waiting on my copy from Courtney at Smith Publicity, and I honestly can’t wait to read it! I’ll be posting a review when I can, of course! You can buy the book on all major booksellers and Ruth’s website, ruthvallis.com.

Next up, in my inspiration section for Mother’s, check out this woman-owned company, MantraBand. Jennifer from Empower Public Relations alerted me to this company, as well as a few others you’ll see in this post. They showcase beautiful rings, bracelets, and necklaces galore! I seriously am going to be shopping after I finish up here, LOL!

They have a handy gift guide section on their site, where you can filter by the special day you’re looking for – so I’m taking a stab here and thinking, hmmm, MOTHER’S DAY! 🙂 The first bracelet that caught my eye was this beauty that comes in 3 colors! The next thing was….who am I kidding…the page has over 70 items, and I pretty much want one of everything! (P.S., they donate funds annually to For The Planet; and $5.00 every time someone purchases a CharityBand.)

For the Mother who’s cold ….. all the time (also me!)

Check out this incredible, almost 6 feet long fuzzy, soft, crazy comfy blanket. Another item that Jennifer with Empower Public Relations brought to my attention, this particular blanket from PediPocket Blanket, has a BUILT-IN pocket on the bottom! Sign me up, please, LOL! These plush blankets come in adult sizes, kiddie sizes, or even XXL sizes – which honestly, is what I’d want because the longer and more to wrap around myself (and my toddlers lol), the better! There are tons of options, from a deep navy, cheetah print, to camo! According to the website, right now, buy one, get one free! Plus, spin a little wheel thing (yes, you have to enter your email address), and you might get another type of discount! (I got $5.00 off of $50.00!)

For the mom who has everything:

My boys, Declan and Tristan, now 4 and 3 years old, respectively, each have a star named after them. Literally. When they were each coming up to their first Christmas, we went to the International Star Registry and purchased them each their very own star. The kit that I bought them included an ornament that listed the name of their star, along with the latitude/longitude of where that particular star was in the sky. The boys get a kick out of hanging those stars on their Christmas trees each year!

Also, go and visit The Night Sky. It is SUCH a wonderful, unique, beautiful gift. This one here wasn’t sent to me by any public relations firm but is a tried and true item, which I bought for myself – twice now. Well, I bought them for my boys to commemorate the nights they came into our lives, with an in-depth photo of what the sky looked like on the same nights that they were born. I was able to note each one and essentially “sign” it so they’ll always have that. Check them out during their Mother’s day sale – 15% off all prints using code MOTHER.

Just think, you could name a star after your Mother, your wife, your sister, aunt, neighbor, best friend, or whomever, and that would be a fantastic gift. Add to that a photo of some commemorative night that they don’t want to forget – perhaps their wedding night; the night their grandchild was born, the night their parents were married; you get it – the options are endless!

For the mom’s who need a damn vacation (pretty sure these segments all apply to me by now, LOL):

If I had my choice, I’d want to do the “Fireside Twilight” option, which involves the moon and stars! Yes, please! You can choose a tandem bike ride for two or a quad bike for 4 of you! Did I forget to mention these bikes are literally ON the railroad tracks?! The price ranges from $85 – $150, but the memories will be irreplaceable! Next up in this section, send your Mother on a much-needed “Divamoms getaway weekend” in the Poconos! Tyler Hill Camp, a country escape with over 220 acres of nature, hosts what promises to be an epic weekend! This is the DivaMoms second retreat, set to be held the weekend of May 21st-May 23rd! Creator, Lyss Stern, is a busy, business-minded mother of 3 who realized just how burned out she was getting. Terribly busy and a victim of COVID, she was looking for a place to let her guard down, enjoy some alone time, and drink some wine!

So, how are you and yours celebrating Mother’s Day this year?

Me? Well, my dad is turning 65 TODAY! So, we rented a cabin in Washington State Park, Missouri, where we’ll be staying from Monday-Wednesday of next week! I know the cabin rental was “technically” for my dad, but I’m claiming it as a partial gift to me as well!

To make it even more extra special for me this year, my husband got me something I’ve wanted for about 15 years now, at least, if not longer, a Canon Di II from a local specialty camera store and gave it to me yesterday! He’s been saving for MONTHS without telling me! I am seriously, so freaking excited to use it! (I can take pictures of the night sky finally!!) But, more to come on that later! 🙂

I hope you all have a fantastic Mother’s Day weekend, and every day after that – as I said earlier, you/we deserve to be celebrated and thanked every day!
