We just recently came back from Colorado Springs, CO. One of my best friends lives out that way, and honestly, we all needed to get away from home for a bit.
The mountains were calling!
Idk about you, but I would LOVE to see this every day – or some version of it. Just mesmerizing.
I spent a lot of time in CO thinking and mulling over how to make this life of mine better, which in turn, would make my kids lives better. So I’m turning a new leaf, and starting to realize that all this work I’ve done reviewing books, things, products, clothes, and more, is valuable. Other people get paid for it every day – why shouldn’t I?
It’s a learning curve for sure, and there will still be some things that a sample product is sufficient as I wouldn’t buy it myself unless I’ve tried it first. But from here on out, I’ll be working on paid partnerships – and it’s opened up a world of opportunities to me! I’m thrilled to say that some partnerships are already in the works and I try to apply to one a day!

One item I was thrilled to have while I was in CO were the Handzies wipes I was gifted from T. K. with Fresh + Hype PR (https://www.freshhypepr.com/) – they were a life-saver when we were driving down Shelf Road, near Cripple Creek! I had packed those in my purse, and with zero has stations, or pull overs for getting cleaned up, they were SO EASY to just pass back to the boys after a snack (or when they were covered in dirt from playing!!)
Seriously, I HIGHLY suggest you go get some for your car, purse, backpack or whatever! They’d be perfect for your kids’ lunch boxes too!! Individualized packets with one wipe, already loaded with soap and water – just lather on your hands and you’re done!!

Oooooh, and something else that T.K. So generously sent my way was 4 bags of Sweet Chaos popcorn – and a bag of Wiley Wallaby’s Candy Corn flavored drops!! Not going to lie, between myself, Dec & T – we ate those 4 SCRUMPTIOUS bags of popcorn in like 4 days 🤣 If I could be an affiliate for them, SIGN ME UP! Best popcorn I’ve had in forever! Makes me wish I lived closer to their factory!! They have fall and winter flavors, as well as some flavors that appear to be standard and always available – either way – PERFECT for any holiday gathering!!
The Wiley Wallaby drops reminded me of old school licorice with a crunchy shell – the boys and I LOVE them!! Go get some here :
Then of course, we had Halloween just the other day – and that was a hoot!! The boys got a TON of candy, we walked the neighborhood, got our exercise, and hustled home, because it was freaking COLD out!!
Home, back to work, and MISSING our CO adventure!! Here’s to next time!! I can’t wait!
