Where it’s beginning to look like it everywhere else, I’ve only got a few strands of lights up, and a few of those window clings the boys put up LOL. I just haven’t gotten into the spirit much yet this year. I’m not sure if it’s the weather, or what – but I’m just not there yet. Here’s to hoping my mentality changes as I absolutely LOVE Christmas-time!
My favorite thing about Christmas is going to see all of the amazing Christmas lights that different places put up around where we live in Missouri! I still haven’t had a chance to visit them all, but someday I will! My next favorite thing is gift-giving – I love trying to find that PERFECT gift for those I love. But it’s certainly not easy! That’s why I’m extra thankful this year to all of the companies that have started to partner with me and let me try out their products! It gives me a bunch of different items to sample and share with you all! So let’s talk about gift options!
Gift option # 1
One of the products we are super excited about is the set of items from Busy Baby! Nora is RIGHT at that stage where these are all going to come in super handy! Invented by moms, so you know right away, THIS is going to work! There’re quite a few items in this set that would make a fantastic gift to any new parents! OR parents of toddlers too that still sit and eat in their highchairs!

I was able to snag a bracelet for both boys, and an adorable bracelet for Nora, too! Tristan doesn’t want to take his off, and has taken to sleeping with it, lol! Declan doesn’t want to lose his, so he keeps it in a safe place, and Nora, well, hers is in my jewelry box so it doesn’t get lost or ruined (or choked on.) I sent in some photos of the boys wearing their bracelets, and they took the time to turn them into cute little designs for me to share with everyone!

When I was young, I swear, for Christmas every year, my mom got me socks and underwear! Can you relate, lol? Back then, I just shook my head and seriously didn’t appreciate it at all – but now that I’m an “adult,” or so my age says, I realize how wrong I was! I am CONSTANTLY looking for a good pair of socks, or underwear that are comfy and non-weggie giving! Now, I’m not about to give you any recommendations on underwear, because that’s just weird (in my opinion); but socks – I’m currently wearing my Dr. Motion socks – they’re compression socks, and you’d never know it! These would make a GREAT stocking stuffer!
They’re super comfy and they come in all shapes/sizes! (There’s a 20% discount if you sign up on their site to receive updates!) Leah with Team Chic Execs had reached out to me earlier this fall and mentioned this company; and I jumped at the opportunity to give them a review! They’re perfect! I wear a pair and they go right in the wash the next day so I can use them again and again! I mean, it’s a bit weird to have a favorite sock, but, it is what it is! Dr. Motion has crew, quarter top, outdoor, mid-crew, knee highs, and even ankle socks! Plus they come in some super cute colors to boot! As you can see, I’m a pink/black fan, I just love that color combo! But, they also have stripes, sunflowers, hearts, dogs, butterflies, flowers and more! Last but not least, let’s talk about snacks – because snacks – make my world go around! They make Tristan’s world spin on it’s head, so there must be something to them LOL.
Specifically Ready.Set.Food. snacks that help introduce allergens to young children; so they can AVOID being allergic when they’re older! Without getting into politics too much, I’m a firm believer that introducing my littles to allergens when they’re babies is better and safer for them, than waiting until they’re older. Recommended to me by our pediatricians, starting our kiddos out early can reduce the risk of allergens, especially peanuts, as they get older. We did it with both Declan and Tristan, and now we’ve started with Nora.
I was happy to come across Ready.Set.Food during my research on starting her out with the perfect amount of allergens when the time was right! Once her doctor gave me the go ahead to start on snacks and baby foods for her, we knew it was the right time! I got a two pack of the Ready.Set.Food organic puffs that introduce peanuts, eggs, milk, cashews, wheat, almonds, walnuts, sesame, and soy to her safely.
The puffs are super soft; and basically melt in your mouth – yes, I tried one. Not exactly super flavorful, for me, but to her, she about bit my finger off! She is a huge fan! We only give her 3 or 4 at a time, so we don’t overwhelm her! It’s nice knowing that she’s already been introduced to these scary allergy items at such a young! And that she had no issue with them at all!
