Most people over the age of 10 know what drugs are. Do they necessarily know what those drugs do or can do? Definitely not all of them.

This little book is chock-full of very important information that everyone should know! As a mom myself to 2 little ones, and as someone who’s very familiar with drug problems from various aspects of my life, I often wonder how I will keep them from doing drugs as they get older. This book isn’t a cure and it’s not as if I go to read it to them that they’ll obviously never do drugs. But, it’s a step in the right direction. Learning and being well-informed are some very important steps in the fight to keep our kids safe.
It’s not enough anymore to just tell someone not to do something. They have to not want to on their own.

That’s why this book is so great! You could start teaching kids about this topic as soon as you think your child would understand – even a little bit! For example, if your child broke something, they probably received some pain meds….great way to start discussing these things using those pain meds as an example of how it can go very badly if the directions on those meds aren’t followed to a t.

Dr. Laura E Happe has written a true gem – it’s easy to understand and walks you through from A-Z everything that can happen and why. It’s a great tool to use and even has a quiz at the end to see what all they understood.

I definitely recommend this book to everyone! Go give it a look and let me know what you think! This book is sold at all major book retailers, including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Audible and many more.
