I’m all about discovery. If you’re anything like me, you’re always dreaming of your next getaway. Call it what you want, a vacation, vacay, escape retreat, or more. I’ve been doing that for as long as I can remember. When I was 14, the first time I left the state of Missouri to go to Florida with a girlfriend from high school, Cat (a HUGE thanks to her and her family!), I decided I’d be traveling as often as possible!

My initial goal was to make it to all fifty states in our grand country before I was thirty. Well, I’m thirty-three now, and that so didn’t happen LOL! I got pretty close, but I still have much of the NorthEast, and then, of course, Alaska and Hawaii. What are your goals with making it to new destinations of discovery?

A few years back, 2014, to be exact, Tyler and I came across this incredible company, Global Discovery Vacations. It was a complete accident. We had just gotten married and were on vacation in Florida, and went to this face to face meeting. We went to two sessions on that trip; One for this company that I’m going to fill you in on and one for a time-share company. Please DON’T make our mistake and sign up for a time-share, they’re TERRIBLE in our experience!

But this Global Discovery club is terrific. It’s how we managed to travel to Ireland last year for just $350 for our two-bedroom villa-esque type of resort we stayed in – check out my pics below!! (Not including airfare, obviously!) This past week we had a follow-up session with our representative with Global Discovery to make sure we were up-to-date with all of the perks of being members.

We are aware of the benefits of the resorts and condos that you can rent through them, but we weren’t aware of the hotel benefits! We spent over an hour talking to our representative, Andrew (message me if you’d like to chat with him, I have his info, and he’s AMAZING!), about where we want to go, places we’d like to spend discovering, and he showed us the hotel deals we could get!

I mentioned that my birthday is in October, just a week before Halloween, and I love all things scary, haunted, unusual/weird, involving witches, etc. So he brought up Salem, MA, and I said YES!!! So we spent a good chunk of time talking about hotel and resort options near there so I could maybe spend my birthday up that way! All I could want!

When I say hotel deals, I don’t just mean you’re getting $10.00 off the regular price. I mean, well, look at the following example. If I wanted to go to Salem, MA, for my birthday, I input where I want to go on the website, followed by the dates I want to stay and hit search. It brings up an entire list, but this was the first option—a Red Roof Inn with four out of five stars, and an average price of $169.00/night. With my member savings, we’d only pay $93.00/night. That’s almost half off.

Not only do you get incredible deals on hotel rooms, which will lead you to a world of discovery wherever you go, but the condos and resorts are unbeatable! Plus, there are the Global Discovery Cruises! I could go on and on about this company. But don’t take my word for it, go and check it out yourself. Sidenote – as with ANY membership, there is a fee that varies depending on the level chosen.

I will break it down a bit further for you. Each membership for Global Discovery comes with a certain number of star credits. The star credits can be used to reserve condos for week-long (or longer) stays all over the world. Their website makes choosing a place to go as easy as pie. They break everything down for you. There is an interactive map of the entire world where you can zoom in on to see what properties they have near your favorite destination of discovery!

There are locales all over the United States, Caribbean, Europe, Mexico, and more! I could spend all day just looking at the photographs of the places they have available, lol! They offer information on what to do when you get to a specific location. There is information on tours all over the world. I do keep going on and on, don’t I? Well, as I said, go check it out if you have the time.

Now, all you have to lose is checking out a great company that helps you fulfill your travel discovery DREAMS, and one HOUR of your time. You sign up using my link, set a time/date, and you’ll get a phone call along with a shared screen (be by a computer) to check out the website with whoever has the time to chat with you. You GAIN an 8-day, 7-night condo stay!

Ooooh, a few more things before you go! First, another reason Tyler and I adore this company is that whenever we decide we’re unfit for traveling (if I have my way that will never happen LOL), we can pass our membership on to our kids for nothing. We’ve already paid it off, it’s ours for life, and therefore, its’ our kids’ for life too. Another bonus is that we can gift condos and hotel discounts to our friends and family. Last but not least, if you should choose to set up a meeting with them and you do end up becoming a member, I’ll get some kickback/bonus from them for spreading the word!

So really this is a bonus for everyone! If you can spare the hour of your time to check out a fantastic club where you can potentially see the world and go on a journey of discovery, then you’re ahead of the curve.
