In a time where sometimes it seems that the only thing that can bring happiness is money, this book shows everyone that true happiness comes from the heart.  Set in a time when there were kings and people lived (I imagine) in little towns all over, and throughout different kingdoms, this book focuses on the territories of Glee and Anger, respectively.

As you can imagine, in the one kingdom, everyone is thriving; and in the other, nothing is right.  One king envies the other and does everything he can to bring the other kingdom down!

It’s a charming and fun read for any little folks in your life. As adults, a lot of our focus is on money – we want to go on vacation; we want to eat at the fancy new restaurant in town; we want to have a night out bowling or see a movie.  But as a kid, they don’t think like that yet, and by using sources likes this excellent kids’ book to help instill what real happiness is at a young age, maybe we can help them be happier adults down the line.

Written by Nicholas Tana and illustrated by Jessica Abbott & Elise Leutwyler.  Mr. Tana has written a few other children’s books, too, “Monsters Are Afraid of Babies,” & “The Kitten, The Cat, & The Apple.”  Along with his writing habits, he’s the founder of New Classic Books & Smart Media.  You can catch up with him on his personal IG acct @nicholastana, or with his New Classic Books acct @newclassicsbooks.  Amongst being an award-winning writer, he’s also been a consultant for Disney, the NFL, & even Twentieth Century Fox!  He’s got his website as well – go ahead, take a look: https://nicholastana.com/.  These books are on Amazon!

What do you think about happiness and where it comes from for you?  What do you try to teach your kids?  Let me know your thoughts!

    1. It really was! My kids are still a tad too young to really “get it” but I’m glad I have the book for when they DO get it! 🙂

Come on, give me some feedback! :) :) :) THANK YOU!
