Creating an Advent Wreath!
Well, what have we here? The end of the year!? Idk about you, but I can’t believe it’s basically December!
I have been so blessed lately – and I’m super excited to share several holiday (Christmas for us) gift ideas with you, courtesy of some lovely folks in PR!
One book that I definitely wanted to share before the end of the month is the above, by Julie G. Connor. Her book won 1st place in children’s picture books in the North Texas Book Fair in 2021!! I can attest, it’s quite vibrant, and so thoughtful!

Did you know that November is National Adoption Month in the USA? Up until I heard about this book from Melissa A, with News 21 AM (https://news21am.com/), I was completely unaware!
Adoption is something I fully believe in – it can be such a great option for many children. I volunteer each year with the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition (https://www.foster-adopt.org/) and it’s always something I look forward to! Matter of fact, my first volunteer date with them is this Friday!!
I truly believe that someday, when I get my ducks in a row, I’d like to look into fostering, at the least. I have plenty of love and laughter to give to a child in need!
