Power. We all have it and use it in different ways. But how do you choose to show off that power? Perhaps you keep quiet, keep it to yourself. Maybe you shout it from the rooftops or post it on your Insta, Twitter, or other socials.
Regardless of how you share your power, I’ve happily stumbled across a new way! Alisa with Alliances by Alisa reached out to me recently about a Connecticut jewelry designing duo, Christina and Raeann Baribault. They’ve been in the jewelry design business (Baribault jewelers in Glastonbury, CT) with their family their whole lives, and they just created their own line.
The Power to B Collection.
I had the opportunity to see the sisters, along with their line, in Hollywood, California, before the Oscars! I wasn’t able to make it physically, but I do have a few photos of the sisters with the A-list celebs they met and introduced their line to! What’s fantastic about the Power to B collection is the line’s pricing. You can choose to show off your Power word with one of the bracelet options, with customizable bands for less than $100, or show off your word with a luxe necklace, fit for the superstar you are! The necklace line is a bit out of my price range for now, but here’s to hoping for the future!
The background of the product:
Christina and Raeann realized the potential for their product within their families’ business when they were going through a very rough period in their lives. The sisters wanted to start their families but were having trouble with fertility. Before the Power to B line, Christina would make screen locks for her phone to give herself uplifting messages throughout the day. Raeann put post-it notes on her mirror that she saw before and after bed.
Seeing uplifting messages on occasion doesn’t always lift you up, though. It has to be constant. That’s where the jewelry line came to fruition. Wearable, uplifting, affirmative jewelry that you can look at and KNOW about yourself all day, every day. Show it off to your friends and family. Share positivity!!
My interview with the sisters:
1) How did you enjoy the pre-Oscars party?!
It was a dream! We loved every moment!
2) What is your dream for the brand?
Our mission is to spread joyful empowerment through the visual reminder practice. We want to create a community that supports one another in challenging times, inspires each other to keep going when things feel difficult, and to uplift spirits through positive affirmations and the reminder practice.
3) Out of the line, what is each of your favorite pieces?
The New Bolo-style bracelets for many reasons. First, we love that it fits almost every wrist size and gender. You can put it on and take it off easily yourself. The nylon rope in all different colors is sure to stand out even with a stack of bracelets you already wear, which then draws your eye to the power word.
4) Your story is quite inspirational! What made you strong enough to share it with the world?
It was the perfect time to share our story. We had our babies, and we never wanted anyone going through fertility to feel alone.
5) What is the best part of the designing jewelry business? I’ve never “known” a jewelry designer, and I just think it would be quite interesting!
We get to be creative every day!
6) While I was reviewing your website and reading up on you both, I noticed that your jewelry line has prices that range from affordable for folks like me (LOL) to the celebrity clientele you recently got to visit! What made you decide to vary the prices so much?
Yes, our bracelets start at $68 because we wanted them to be affordable! Oftentimes your power word can change throughout the year, so we wanted our community to be able to purchase multiple power words at any time or the same power word but a different color so it adapts to seasons just as a wardrobe would! Bright pink and turquoise with gold are so pretty in the summer, and a deep purple or jewel-tone green with rose gold is gorgeous for the fall! We were able to pilot test these bracelets in our family’s jewelry store and asked for feedback from our consumers. We had many requests for a 14K gold and diamond version, so that inspired us to create the luxe style bracelets and necklaces that start at $625.
7) What’s up next for you? A new line of jewelry, promotions? What’s next?!
So much excitement for The Power to B in the near future! We are open to any and all opportunities, and we will continue to develop the bracelets and work on new colors and styles to launch every few months. We are also beginning to work on a few additional power words inspired by the celebrities we met!

These power words will make you smile each time you look at your wrist and see the word you are showing off.
