Food. It’s the simplest, yet most complicated thing on the planet. Or so it seems. Since I don’t even know how long ago, we humans have been trying and trying some more to figure out what “healthy” food is. It’s only natural for us to wonder what’s healthy for our pets, too! With the dawn of the internet, this is no easy undertaking.
Let me tell you about SquarePet, a newer food for cats and dogs that breaks it down and cuts out the yucky things found in most name-brand foods out there. I’ve been trying out the brands’ turkey & chicken feline dry food formula, and my cats are IN LOVE! When I received it, I placed it on the counter, and when I got home, one of my lovable stinkers had torn into the bag to arrive at its’ contents!
There were a few choice curse words thrown at the lot of them that day! LOL
Anyways, back to what I was saying, this cat food is incredible! My cats love it and beg me for it every afternoon when I get off work and go downstairs! Here’s the breakdown (found on the Squarepet website) of what’s all in the cat food I’ve been giving my furballs!

This company has quite a few options for your cat and dog companions to choose from, all veterinarian formulated!
If you want a meat-free alternative recipe for dogs, check out their Square Egg superfood for doggos!
Then there’s their ‘VFS’ (or veterinarian formulated solutions), sensitive skin, and digestive support option for those dogs that always seem to have a problem with the foods they’re consuming!
The remaining options they offer are all high-meat, low-carb options, something our feline and canine friends NEED! The majority of foods they can have are chock-full of carbs, which is NOT a good thing!! These foods offered by SquarePet are the perfect alternative!
Overall, I feel as if I were a cat, I’d be in love. My cats are. Your cats could be too. If you choose to give it a try, please let me know what your pets think!!! The SquarePet products are in most specialty pet stores, and each product is available on the SquarePet website!
