What a delightful children’s book!!! I had a great time reading this to my kids, who thoroughly enjoyed it as well! We all got a kick out of Timothy’s time machine, especially when he went to visit dinosaurs from millennia ago! We got to see pirates, dragons and kings, and even Timothy’s mom and dad back when they were kids, not to mention a certain Mr. Armstrong in the 60’s!
I was lucky enough to “meet” the author, Mr. William A.E. Ford on Twitter, and after a quick introduction where I mentioned I have been doing book reviews, he offered to send me an e-version (for review, of course)! I am so glad he did that, or who knows when I would’ve come across this gem! His writing style for this book reminds me a bit of Dr. Seuss – I’ve always loved a good Seuss book. My kids found it quite hysterical the way I was reading to them because of the rhymes!
Such a great book, and wonderfully illustrated by Marcelo Simonetti! The pictures correlate to the storyline beautifully! I can’t recommend this book enough!
