How amazingly accurate is the title of this book?! Don’t we all have dreams and wants?! I have to admit, I’ve had this book for the better part of six months, but I still haven’t written up my review. Life has a way of throwing every kink imaginable in the way, right?
A friend of mine that I met through Instagram sent me this book after she wrote it! She’s living in Ireland, which is one of my many dreams! I loved reading this book; in fact, I reference it quite often. It’s one of those books that makes you think about life, self-discovery, and what you WANT out of life.
The details in your dreams:
There are journal prompts that go along with every section of the book that makes you question how things make you feel, what you’re grateful for, what your dreams are, and more.
Linda also takes specific posts from her blog and utilizes them in the book, as well. So you get a bit of Linda’s blog along with her new book! In part 1 of her book, she asks the questions, “what are you most grateful for today? What are the little things that made you happy today?”
THAT certainly resonated with me, as anyone who is a friend of mine on Facebook will know that I post a daily post asking myself those same questions. Every day, I create a numbered post sharing whatever made me happy for the day.
For instance, last night, I was on “Day 1841 #happydays,” and it consisted of getting a new blog post up, which you can read here, as well as cuddles with my boys and watching a movie! Coming up with something that makes your day doesn’t have to be HUGE or EPIC; it just has to make you happy for a moment.
After all, it’s the little moments.
This book is highly motivational, and I get a kick out of learning about someone whom I’ve never met in person. It took a lot for Linda to write down her most personal thoughts on her blog and then transform them into a book to share!
Every person has a story and wants to share their inspiration with others! Some people may not realize that, but it’s inside all of us if we listen!
